Privacy notice

What this site collects, and why.

This notice covers arcsystemstechnology.com. Each Arc system has its own privacy notice for the people who use it; this one is only about this website and the requests sent through it.

Who we are

ArcSystemsTechnology is a trading name of ArcGabriel Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 17389329, registered office Carlile Institute Business Centre, 54 Huddersfield Road, Meltham, Holmfirth HD9 4AE) and registered with the Information Commissioner's Office. ArcGabriel Ltd is the controller of the personal data described here. Questions and requests about your data go to hello@arcsystemstechnology.com.

What we collect

When you send a request through the form we receive what you type: your name, email address, organisation if you give it, the kind of engagement you have in mind, and your description of the case. We use it to read the request and reply to you. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering an enquiry you chose to make. The form is sent as an email to our mailbox; nothing you type is stored on this website's server.

When you visit, our hosting provider records the usual server logs (the address your device connects from, the pages requested, the time, and the browser type) for security and to keep the site running. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and the site sets no cookies of its own.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests them from Google's servers and Google receives your device's address in the process. Google's own privacy policy applies to that request.

Who else handles it

Each acts on our instructions as a processor. Some of them operate in part outside the UK; where they do, transfers rely on the UK's adequacy regulations or on standard contractual clauses in the provider's terms.

How long we keep it

A request we do not take on is deleted from our mailbox within twelve months of our reply. A request that becomes an engagement is kept for the life of that engagement and for six years afterwards, as part of the contractual record. Server logs are kept by the hosting provider for a short rolling period, typically no more than thirty days.

Your rights

You can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to our processing it, or ask for a copy in a usable form. Email hello@arcsystemstechnology.com and we will answer within one month. If you are not satisfied with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If this notice changes, the date below changes with it. We do not send notices of changes to a website privacy notice; the current version is always this page.
